We explore how sugars shape health and disease. Our projects span from rare genetic conditions, like PMM2-CDG and GNE myopathy, to cancer research, where we study how glycans drive tumor growth, immune escape, and the impact of diet on colorectal cancer. We also work on making CAR T cell therapies safer and more effective by tackling sugar-related mechanisms that influence their function.
